Behavioral Health Court Liaison - Social Work Behavioral Health
Location: Cleveland Heights Health Center
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: M-F 8-5

Summary:
Provides a vital link to behavioral health patients and family members to navigate successfully through the health care and Probate Court processes. Ensures all patients have an active legal status throughout their hospitalization by removing barriers to care, including providing access to resources, and support and enhancing communication with the health care providers and Courts
Qualifications:
Required: BSW in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Licensed Social Worker (LSW) for the State of Ohio. Possess and maintain current notary public licensure. Experience working with sensitive and/or confidential information. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to work with complex Excel spreadsheets. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Culturally sensitive and comfortable working with a diverse urban population. Organized and detail-oriented. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team. Ability to work effectively and in a professional manner when under stress and confronted with severe time constraints.
Preferred: 3 years of mental health care experience. Bilingual or multilingual skills.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
