MetroHealth Coordinator - Community Health Engagement and Impact in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Summary:
Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of community engagement and impact programs and initiatives. Coordinates MetroHealth’s community sponsorship process including portal oversight, tracking and fulfilling key activities and serving as the primary liaison with organizations regarding sponsorship fulfillment. Maintains the enterprise-wide community engagement calendar, providing regular reports and information to MetroHealth System (MHS) leadership and staff. Serves as the primary administrative liaison for the Community Advisory Councils and other community engagement groups and activities. Builds relationships in communities, increases awareness of MHS services, and elevates the presence and perception of the System. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the MHS.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e. Healthcare, Business, Marketing, Communications). In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Five or more years of experience and a proven track record in at least one of the following areas: * Marketing * Business, government, or health care operations * Advocacy or nonprofit service delivery. Strong knowledge of Greater Cleveland government, neighborhoods, and communities. Highly motivated and results oriented. Superb strategic thinking skills. Ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders and constituencies. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, with a strong attention to detail orientation. Ability to plan, direct, implement, and evaluate multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to work evenings as weekends as needed. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred: Proficiency in a second language.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
